Laundry help

Can I ask for any tips please with doing laundry. My little boy has to wear black joggers for nursery.
How do you stop the black colour from fading? Gonna be buying him some new ones soon and I want to try and keep the colour for as long as possible. The ones he has now started fading very quickly.

Wash inside out and with a specific detergent for colours. Tbh I expect everyone is in the same boat so wouldn't worry too much.

Cool wash, dry indoors, a colour washing detergent. Honestly though, if it's for nursery, I'd just accept the colour loss knowing that'll be too small by the time you blink anyway.

Firstly it will depend on the manufacturing process of the clothes so that bit you can't really do much about. As for washing, you want to use a product that doesn't contain bleach so a liquid laundry detergent is best as they don't and ideally one for colours. Avoid using heavy duty stain removals in your wash. If they have stains then use a little bit of washing up liquid on the stain, emulsify in and then leave to soak.

But at the end of the day, joggers at nursery are kind of meant to be worn and take some abusive so I wouldn't sweat it too much - there'll either be grown out of or worn through the knees before you know it!
