Hi
Hope you guys can give me some advice.
I've hurt my back and can't do any bending so I can't hoover or wash floors.
I hired a cleaner to do all rooms except my two boys rooms (They don't want a stranger in their rooms, so fair enough).
She hoover and washes the floors only. BUT, my problem is, she literally just hoovers the used parts, doesn't pull out couches or beds, which I would always do when I do it myself. I would also do skirting boards too.
Would you expect a cleaner to do this?
She is so lovely, I don't want to say anything to her!
Are my expectations too high?
TIA

Sounds like a deep clean. I wouldn't expect anyone to be moving your furniture around, no. Did you ask her to?
Can your kids not vacuum?

I wouldn't routinely move sofas and beds, no. That's more of a deep cleaning routine. I'd hoover visible skirting boards though.

I'm guessing that if your kids are of an age where they want privacy / don't want a stranger going into their rooms, they're old enough to wield a vacuum cleaner? If so, can you not get them to do it?
