Pillows & vacuum bags. Yes or no?

We always host Christmas and need a lot of bedding for the various people who come & stay then. This year, I am determined not to have a whole cupboard full of duvets and pillows so got some of those vacuum bags to see if they would work. Can you use them with pillows or will it leave the pillows as sad, lifeless things rather than the puffy numbers they are at the moment? Much as I don't want a cupboard full of bedding, nor do I want to have to do an emergency dash to buy pillows on 23/12 as visitors are arriving! The pillows are synthetic if that makes any difference to their survival chances.
Thanks

all the vacuum bags I’ve ever used have failed. Expensive ones, cheap ones, all rubbish. Some of them work for a while, but fail after you open them the first time. Some of them don’t last an hour. Save your money.

Oh! Drat it. Really @Suffernsocotash? I've mentally re-arranged the entire upstairs on the basis of getting this cupboard back!

I love them! Use them to store seasonal duvets and random pillows not to mention jumpers over the summer etc. highly recommend.

I use them, not had any issues and they save so much space storing extra bedding. Just make sure the pillows are flat inside the bag, and give them a day or two to fully come back to life!
