How to clean a wet room floor ?

I have a wet room but there is no shower in it. I use it as a utility room and put the cats food , litter tray in there. The floor is now stained with footprints and some of the cats food is ground into it, I thought it would be easy enough to clean it with a mop but it's not taking any of the stains out.
Apparently because it is special safety flooring , it's much harder to clean. It is very rough and gritty as it has to be non slip.
It looks awful and if I had known it would be impossible to clean , I would have been very careful not to stain it in the first place.
Does anyone have any ideas on how i could clean it?

If you have a steam mop, try that. If not, get a hard brush (long or short handled), and a bucket of fairy liquid. That will get into the grooves of the floor.

It's a bit of a faff but a nail brush/small bristle brush on your hands and knees. Then, if you can afford one- a Karcher window cleaner thing to suck the water up (you have to empty it regularly as it's not designed to be used on a horizontal surface)

Or a steam mop with the window attachment and some kitchen roll to mop up the water produced- but you just have to blot it otherwise the paper rips and you're left with bits of paper everywhere.

I clean the wet room floor of my elderly dad's bathroom. It has non-slip tiles that just rip at cloths and kitchen paper. The above are the best solutions I've found.
