Stain on wool carpet

I've just removed some furniture and there's a stain on the carpet. The carpet is wool, do you have any advice on a good carpet cleaner?

How big is the stain? I gently cleaned mine Woolite laundry detergent.

Boil a kettle and get a towel.

Pour the water on the stain, not a huge amount and then blot gently with the towel.

Repeat.

You are actually steaming the stain out. It does take a while but does work.
