What colour for kitchen

Moving home next month, the kitchen is black and white, black counters and white cupboards. We have a see through kettle, mirrored microwave so it's just toaster and tea, coffee canisters I'm wondering what colour to go for, I was thinking stainless steel but would that look too cheap/cafe?

No opinions?

What colour are the walls or any soft furnishings/blinds, etc?

Stainless or white/black would be fine if you plan to have a monochrome scheme but, if not, I would consider linking the colour of the accessories to other items in the room.

Thankyou! Walls are white and I haven't bought any accessories yet as I wanted to match them to whatever I go for the other bits x

Pink looks fresh and warms the monochrome up without making it darker or "obvious" like using a primary colour ☺️
