Oil heaters at night

Recently moved into a new home.

The heating in the house doesn't heat up the house properly so I have resulted to getting oil heaters in each room.

Can I leave them on overnight?

One is 1kW and the other is 1.5kW

When my central heating broke I put my heaters on timers so they came on for 15 mins in every hour - including overnight. It was too much (too warm) to have them on all the time overnight.

Mine was 2kw in a smallish room though.

Just make sure they're not underneath anything, don't have anything draped over them (eg to warm PJs up) or too close to bedding, etc.

When we had the kittens in the conservatory, we left the heater on overnight on low. It has a thermostat, so we set it at 18 and left it on. It had a timer too, but never worked out how to use it!
