Memory foam heat damage

Husband put a hot cup of tea on our totter and tumblr memory foam mat and it's left a compressed ring mark. Anything I can do to lift out the heat damage and return to normal?

Sadly not - if it’s left a compressed ring mark then it’s probably damaged the internal structure of the memory foam. How bad is it? As in would it be covered up with a mattress protector or is it a deep dent?
