Please recommend a carpet cleaner

Small house, dog. I need something not too heavy and easy to fill/ empty.

I tried Vax but found it weak and flimsy. Bought a refurbished Bissell and it was far superior. They have an outlet on eBay with many < £150 with warranty.

I went for the pet version. Used it to wash my mattress and the grey water that came out was 🤑

I put the mattress on the floor and pushed the washer over it like washing the carpet. Tried with the hand tool but took too long. If you do this on a hot summer day the mattress will be dry the next day.

I’ve got a Vax too. Use it practically weekly (I have four dogs). It’s pretty good. I get the solution from Amazon, don’t bother with the actual vax one as other ones are cheaper and just as good.

Do you mean a wet carpet cleaner to purchase, or to hire? Larger supermarkets, B&Q etc rent them out.

Henry brand does a wet/dry vac, but if its like their regular machines, they are heavy. Unfortunately, anything which has a large tank of water is going to be heavy.
