How do you clean a decanter ?

Overheard someone asking this in a wine bar , I don't have one so no idea.
Anyone have tips ?

Like a crystal decanter? Warm soapy water.

If stained, a bottle brush.

Soapy water with a range amount of dry rice . Swirl it around gently to clean inside. Then rinse

Swish it out using rice as scouring powder.
Dry it upside down on the kitchen paper towel holder.
Or there’s a flexible bottle brush for decanters.

We have these little metal balls that you put into the decanter with soapy water and they sit at the very bottom of the decanter and roll around the bottom rim of It to take the stains off in an area that's usually hard to get into

I use steradent overnight then dairy liquid and warm water in the morning
