I have a shark cordless hoover few years old. Looks like its broken. Thinking of maybe trying the plug in one now as Ive heard they are better. Has anyone used both would I regret getting a plug in? I have a 4 year old so do use the hoover nearly every day downstairs.

Cordless are great for biscuit crumbs and fluff imo but I will never give up my corded ever again.

I have the Shark pet and antiwrap and I think it's very good and will eat kitty litter without spitting it out again, plus has great reach. I also have the foldaway shark which picks up my DDs long hair but won't stand up by itself once extended unfortunately, howrver she's decided to take it with her when she leaves home so not a problem 😂 Both are reasonably lightweight which was my original reason for buying these particular ones, I have the first one downstairs/stairs and the foldaway for the bedrooms.

I bought a Shark Stratos Hair Wrap ,

my Halo Capsual was getting a bit meh it's a cordless with a bag but the roller got clogged with hair , it just felt like it was floating on the carpet , even on boost .Possibly needs a new roller ?

The Shark Stratos folds in half to store or to vacuum under a bed or table . It has a cannister so I can see the dust and hair collected <eek> Lift off the top half to use on stairs .
It has a cord but its 10m long so though its a pain to wrap it up and hold the cord it isn't a deal breaker .

We had a Dyson cordless for years and I was such a fan. Would never have dreamed of going back to corded.

Then it broke and I had to use an old corded Vax one. It got up so much more and not having to stop to charge was great. I'm now converted back to corded. We got a Shark corded one for Christmas and it's better than any other corded or cordless I've used. Yes, the cord is a little annoying but worth it for the better job it does.
