How to keep clothes crease-free when wearing after ironing?

I almost never iron, but I would like to start looking more sharp. However whenever I do iron, my clothes go creased very quickly when sitting down etc. Would starch help? Or any other tricks? Mainly I wear cotton jumpers and shirts.

Buy well cut clothes made of good quality fabrics, wool or heavier cotton twills, and clothes that fit - nothing too tight. Skirts or trousers with linings.

Jumpers tend to lose their stretch after one or two wears, so hand wash carefully.

Store clothes by hanging them, buttoned up between wearing. Store sweaters on shelves.
