Ok, so my georgous photos of DC's have just arrived from Pixiphoto.

But what am I supposed to do with the boarded ones? Do I just frame them like nowmal photos? If so why are they not printed on regular photo paper?????

I bet no one can answer this!!!!

You looked all abandoned.

Sorry I am sod all help though!!! I'd probably do frames

LynetteScavo · 02/05/2008 10:39

But they are polystyrene (sp?) board things. Why are they like that? Suely if they were supposed to be framed, they would just be regular photo paper.

I think they print the photos on the springy board thing so they last longer.I have mine mounted in glass clip frames makes them look expensive and very arty!

Don't know about pixiphoto specifically, but any print over 8x10 ought to be mounted on something (normally card) before being framed as otherwise they warp over time. Photographs printed onto Foam core or Foamex board tend to be used more for display as they are without being framed, IME, but there's no reason you can't frame them.
