Looking for recommendations for a Robot Hoover.

What kind do you have and do you recommend it?

I have two Eufy robot hoovers. I no longer use them though they work fine. They were a novelty at first but a pain to maintain. I just use my Henry.

kublacant · 15/12/2024 16:52

I have an eufy robot hoover and I love it. It’s one of the more basic ones but it’s great. I see it as a substitute for me having a daily sweep of the wooden floors.

CatherinedeBourgh · 15/12/2024 16:53

I have a eufy too. I love it.

NormaNormalPants · 15/12/2024 16:56

We bought a eufy during the Black Friday sales and absolutely love it. Handles the dog, horse and toddler mess brilliantly and also mops the floors! We’d ummed and ahhed for ages but so glad we finally took the plunge.

winter8090 · 15/12/2024 16:59

Oh fabulous so the Eufy hoovers and mops?

I also have a Eufy and it's elevated my house to a not so grim level as I'm struggling for time to do proper housework at the moment.

hiredandsqueak · 15/12/2024 17:18

I have a Neato and it's fabulous. I set it off before I walk the dog and it feels like I've been productive coming back to the whole of the downstairs vacuumed.

Horse mess? Is this a typo?

I have images of a little robot vac in the stable yard 😁

Oh god I wish!! Then I’d definitely be living the dream!

We live on a smallholding so invariably end up traipsing mud, hay and bedding into the house 🙈

We had one that we didn't keep. I know people rave about them but they are quite noisy wee things and they take eons to hoover. Fine if you are working out the house but a pita if you work from home. In the end, I decided I'd rather put the hoover around myself than have it droning on and knocking into everything in the background.

Luminousalumnus · 15/12/2024 18:21

Eufy and love it. Goes on the half hour programme once a day and keeps the downstairs looking very adequate. Much better than when I did it once a week or so. Every so often it's carried upstairs and gets half an hour up there too. We don't have the mop feature.

whatever1980 · 15/12/2024 18:38

I have a Eufy really good but I'd get a send emptying one next time as I'm the only who empties it and it fills pretty quick

IamChipmunk · 15/12/2024 18:44

Neato also here. We have two! One for upstairs and one for downstairs. They are controlled by the alexa so you can tell them to start whenever.
They are really good, wouldn't be without them!

HumanRightsAreHumanRights · 15/12/2024 19:06

I've got an Eufy on both floors of the house and I love them.

Got one Eufy first, got a different brand for upstairs and it broke after a year so I replaced it with a second Eufy.

They are basic ones that you can just press a button on and let it go without having to use an app.

Five years later, both still working fine and make a massive difference to my house.

I've spent about a tenner on replacement bits, but then found you can restore the brushes (they get a bit snarled up over time) by putting them in a sink of hot water, so still have spares for the next few years.

Considering swapping one for a model that goes back to it's base and empties it's own bin as that's the thing I have to remember to do most often but if one did break they'd be a replace straight away item for me.

Oh fabulous so the Eufy hoovers and mops?

We got the x10 which does both. It was pretty pricey but we live rurally and have struggled to find a decent cleaner, so have justified it on the basis that whilst it’s keeping on top of the floors it frees up more time for us to stay on top of the rest of the house rather than hiring help in.

winter8090 · 18/12/2024 15:06

Thank you all. The Eufy is in order :-)

I have a Roborock, sorry I’m not sure what model. I love it! It goes on 3 times a day, been going strong for 3 years. We have two dogs ( one is a golden retriever) and a Maine Coon cat!

Namechange6578 · 18/12/2024 22:20

We got a Eufy (think it's L50 model?) in the Black Friday sales, and I absolutely love it!

My husband was dubious at first, but even he thinks it's great. When you empty it it's amazing to see how much it's picked up!

YesThatsATurdOnTheRug · 18/12/2024 22:32

Eufy have such awful Trustpilot reviews, it makes me nervous! Never seen so many 1 star reviews.
