10 day cleaning schedule

I am hosting a party 2 weeks tonight. My house is a disgrace - messy and dirty - can anyone point me in the direction of a schedule so I'm not just madly cleaning on the day? I honestly don't know what I can do now that won't need doing again? Thank you thank you!!

I’d do all the rubbish, declutter ruthlessly and then do a room a day!

Just start in a tiny corner and take it from there

I have no idea how bad your house is, but I have had a lot on this year and suddenly woke up realising that at some point this year, I've lost my ability to keep on top of my house.

On Monday I spent 3 hours just doing some basics,
put a load of washing on,
put a load away,
empty and clean the bins,
pause the dishwasher mid cycle when full to soak everything.
Clean the sink and wash up the pans,
clean the oven top.
Clear off the sofas.
Hoover everywhere to cursory degree.
Throw out manky things in the fridge

Just that in one hour chunks got me quite caught up and semi presentable. It's a good starting point to just do the most basic tasks all together in one go I think. Gets you I that headspace to start. I find I get distracted and go off on tangents. I wouldn't say I did of of those jobs brilliantly but it was more than my normal effort in them. I'm going to the Dana K plan next
