Grease like marks

Some of my boys clothes come out of the washer with marks on them that look like grease marks. I know they aren't though. I use Persil and wash at 40 so they should be coming clean.

do you use a tumble dryer with those dryer sheets? - my marks turned out to be those.

No, I do dry them in the dryer but rarely use the sheets, Can't remember the last time I did actually.
