Heat Pump Dryer Help

Hey

My condensor dryer went last week and I quickly rushed to replace it (I can't be without a dryer). Delivered today and I'm looking for some reassurance. The clothes are barely getting warm. Please tell me this is normal?

Granted, I'm used to clothes coming out really HOT, shrinkage and eventually getting ruined, and lots of condensation when my old one run, but I'm not sure what I was expecting. I guess I was expecting to feel heat but it's only slight.

Is this normal?

It is a bit of a shock at first.

There are lots of different types. Mine has the ordinary dry function, and then you can move to a different setting where you can programme some extra time, 20 minutes, 30 minutes, 40 minutes etc etc. You get used to it.

The default output setting on my condenser heat pump dryer assumes that you want to iron the cloths, so they are slightly damp by design.
I just press a button to amend this to get properly dry cloths.

Sorry to hear this OP. There might be some tips from others especially if you can share the model and make?

I have a couple of threads on the topic of tumble dryers. I am deciding between a heat pump and condenser. Your OP makes me think a heat pump will be the worst decision ever!

What make do you have? It took me a while to get used to mine. I make sure I select cupboard dry.

I went with a Hoover 500 because I've been happy with their things before. Never had issues. Plus I could spend loads. It was 529 I believe. To be honest I'm not mad, clothes definitely feel in a better condition but it's been a big mindset change as I've had a condenser for so long! I used to quite enjoy the warmth of the clothes being pull out lol
