DH has got diesel all over a pair of jeans. I chucked them in the washing machine with a ton of soda crystals, then followed that with a regular wash using bio washing pod. I think the mark has gone, but the stench is still a force to be reckoned with!
I've been soaking them in a bucket of a strong bicarb solution for a few hours now, but I'm not sure what to do next. I don't have white vinegar - I could buy some tomorrow... Do I just empty the bicarb water and machine wash again? Or do I just waft a match over them and accept they're dead?
Any suggestions are welcome!
