Hello!

I have this grey stain left behind after dry my mops in the shower - I admittedly left them in there longer than I should have and now I’m left with this stain.

I have tried bleach, lemon & baking soda but neither made any difference.

any help would be appreciated!!

Thank you in advance

Barkeepers friend could be worth trying.
It is usually really good with stains in the toilet bowl and similar.

If the shower tray is plastic rather than ceramic or enamel, though, Barkeeper’s Friend might scratch and dull it.

What cleaning agent had you been using with your mops to leave this stain? That might help us work out how to neutralise it.

Barkeepers Friend shouldn't scratch if you follow the instructions.

I've used it on numerous surfaces and, touch wood, never scratched. On the label it states it is recommended for plastic as well as ceramic etc.

I mopped up flood water as my flat had flooded - coming up through the shower & toilet so no chemicals that I’m aware of and the tray I think is ceramic so should be okay - I’ll give bar keepers friend a try - thank you!!

In Australia where I live they have something called 30 seconds Mould and it is magic. One of my DS's girlfriend dyed her hair and left stains in DS bathroom and I didn't notice them for days as I never go in there. When I tried to remove them, first I use hydrogen peroxide with little success then https://30seconds.co.nz/product/mould-off/ see if you can find something similar in UK and test it first with a Q tip.

Mould Off | 30 SECONDS | We know cleaning

Quickly and easily remove mould and mildew around your home with 30 SECONDS® Mould Off. It cleans, sanitizes, and deodourises without harsh scrubbing.

Thank you! I tried the mold spray but didn’t get anywhere with it and I didn’t have hydrogen peroxide but I did have 20 vol peroxide that I use for dying my hair and that seemed to do the trick!

Magic eraser. Cheap as chips and truly magic. For future reference!

That's amazing. When you said you had tried all these things without duccess I thought the stain would be permanent.
