Anyone washed a Do not wash 100% polyester trench coach?

Mine is a camel colour from Zara & I really want to clean it but not sure how if the label says do not machine wash, do not dry clean 🙃

I have no advice, but o can share my experience of having washed a coat that was Dry Clean Only (I note that yours is not dry curable either). Anyway, the coat shrank and the lining didn't, and it was all baggy and hung out of the ends of the sleeves.

I would put in a very cool bath and trample on it a bit! Rinse, hang to dry. I cleaned my wedding dress like that, so I’m definitely not risk averse!

I hand washed a Karen Millen dry clean only poly cotton Mac. It was fine. I used very tepid water by hand and rinsed & spun in the machine.

I take this attitude: you want the coat to be cleaned, so you clean it. I’d wash at 20 or 30 degrees, very mild detergent, quick wash, slow spin. If it won’t withstand that, then it’s not really fit t

A wool wash perhaps? Although I've had a similar experience to @IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads in that the item shrank but the lining didn't. Everything should be washable or dry cleanable - there should be a law about it.

I'll try the bath tub first, hopefully it should get rid or lighten the stains on the arms and cuff
