CONFUSED! Laundry detergent / cleanser

Hiya
i have accidentally ordered laundry cleanser instead of laundry detergent. It appears to be for disinfecting your clothes (wasn’t aware this was necessary). Thing is I’ve already done two loads of washing with it instead of detergent as I had run out of detergent, hence why I bought it. Can this be used instead? Or are the clothes I’ve just washed not properly washed now. Really confused! Thanks!

The cleanser supposedly kills bacteria on your clothing, so whatever you washed will be hygienic, but it won’t necessarily remove stains/ marks on your items.
So depends on how dirty the stuff was. I wouldn’t worry about it, especially if it’s items you use/ wear a lot.

If your clothing looks clean (and it won't have any germs on it at least!) then fine. As pp said it just won't remove stains.

Its not a detergent so it won't have removed stains as effectively as what you usually use. The cleanser goes in the softener compartment

I use the cleanser (with detergent) when I wash my DS gym gear .
It is designed to kill bacteria and his clothes definately smell better than if I don;t use it .
Sometimes I use with bedding but it goes on a 60c wash so doesn't need it .
