is the table plastic or wooden???

if wooden, then put tissue over the crayon marks and gently run an iron over....the wax melts and is absorbed into the tissue.

if plastic, obviously don;t follow this tip

ten10 · 27/04/2008 12:38

put a drying up cloth over the wax and iron it (min setting not too hot), move the cloth so a fresh bit is over the stain and iron again, repeat as necessary this will get the wax off but some colour may be left behind, but this should now come off with more 'normal' cleaning methods.

Blutac.
get a ball of blutac and rub it over it.

shrinkingsagpuss · 27/04/2008 12:40

bollocks, went for more nail varnish remover..... off came the wax crayon... along with the surfae of the table!!!

plastic surface.... iron would melt it... no flash stuff in my cleaning cupboard.. don't dare risk the cilit bang!!

oh dear about the surface of the table.

maybe a sharpish knife next time to 'scrape' it off???

VictorianSqualor · 27/04/2008 12:44

Try the blutac, seriously, it works.

shrinkingsagpuss · 27/04/2008 12:55

hmmmm. find blutac...... does it matter if its covered in fluff? .. should have some fluff free somewhere....
