We had a Vax Blade 2 which as just died on us so I'm looking for a replacement cordless vacuum cleaner.
I need something for a 3 bedroom house with a mix of hardwood floors, slate tiles, regular carpet and a deep shag pile rug.
No pets but a toddler so the kitchen and hallways need daily cleaning after mealtimes and where the buggy goes.
Needs a crevice & dusting attachment for the picture rails / skirting board etc.
Budget is up to £499.
What will clean all of those surfaces well and be worth the money - our Vax only lasted 3 years and I regret buying it.
