Rat Blanket..

Our kitchen had a rat coming from an open hole so we closed it for a while and used a different area as a makeshift kitchen until the hole was sorted. When I went back in I didn't realise I'd left a thick winter blanket on the floor which I was going to wash. It's a heavy blanket, the indian/pakistani types. My mother gave it as a wedding gift and I wouldn't want to throw it away. What do you suggest I can do to make sure it's completley clean and disinfected.. I'm pregnant so more wary! Thankyou.

Wash it with some Dettol Laundry Cleanser or send it to the dry cleaners depending on it's care label

If it's precious, large/heavy/made of tricky fabric or with embellishments, I'd take it to a specialist cleaner (dry cleaner type) and have a chat to them.

I was going to say the same. Take it to a reputable dry cleaner/laundry anc talk to them.

Glad ratty has gone Wink

Like a proper razai the thick ones? I’d be worried about the filling. You might have to get the interior changed.
