How to clean outside window sills?

My window sills outside are painted white. It’s a typical Victorian or Edwardian house with a bay window. The sills are looking quite dirty - just general dark streaks and staining from the elements. Does anyone have any tips on how I can clean them - would something like Cif, Fairy liquid or vinegar work? I want to scrub the paint clean but not scrub it off. I know repainting is the best option but don’t have the time or inclination right now. Thanks!

I have plastic outside mine but use cif to give them a little clean.

Mine aren’t plastic, not sure what they are - brick with some sort of render? The surface is relatively smooth and painted white.

I use dilute Flash/supermarket equivalent. .

Thanks. Maybe I’ll just give it a good scrub with hot water and fairy liquid and see if that helps

I'd try that first. I'm sure it will work and it's fairly gentle.

I’ll be interested if that works, we have marks on our sills that I think comes from a tree. I’ve not tried fairy but I have cif, pink stuff, even bleach and nothing! We recently had the sills painted and I’ve resigned myself that this will probably need to be done yearly to keep it looking clean. We do have a pressure washer but I’m not sure how much mess I’d make trying to do the upstairs sills with that 😭

edit- should say we’re in the same, Edwardian/victorian cusp house, big bay windows. Ours were painted with masonry paint
