Birds custard on jumper. What will shift the stain?

Exactly this! My granddaughter adores this type of custard and has got it on a lovely cream jumper. My daughter used fairy liquid and cold water on it and then washed it. There's still a large pale yellow stain on it. Any ideas?

You could try gall soap (also called Gallseife). I was recommended it in Germany to get yellow baby poo stains out of white baby grows and it really works! The stains would just disappear. You wet the item of clothing and the soap, rub the soap over the stain and leave it for a minute then rinse, keeping doing this until the stain goes.
