Help!! I have such a phobia of slugs so this is my worst nightmare.
I have lived in this house for 5 years without an issue. Suddenly a couple of weeks ago I found a slug on my utility wall. The day after, by the back door. Then nothing for about 2 weeks and now today another one by the side door (another entrance to the utility but the opposite side of the house). It's only this 1 room that gets them. My dad made and fitted my doors and swears down they can't be coming in through them (composite doors), plus the doors are only about 2 years old. The utility houses the washing machine, the fridge and the guinea pigs, but it also acts as a hallway to the downstairs storage cupboard where we keep all the gardening equipment. However, this summer I hired a gardener so that room hasn't been touched since last summer, so it's unlikely to have come in through there.
I've tried putting my torch on but they are not leaving a trail, it's almost like they just appear! Has anyone got any ideas where they coild potentially be coming from?
