Bathroom - there's no need for visotrs to go into my domain kitchen

emkana · 24/04/2008 13:53

I would clean the sink and the toilet in the bathroom and the surfaces and the floor in the kitchen

No need for visitors to come into the kitchen
(assuming you have a living room)

Tortington · 24/04/2008 13:53

kitchen - tell em bogs broke - you ave to go through kitchen in my house

MamaG · 24/04/2008 13:53

Bathroom, but I would give kitchen a fast whizz too

beansprout · 24/04/2008 13:54

Kitchens are allowed to be messy but a dirty bathroom is just minging.

padboz · 24/04/2008 13:54

bathroom - they can lock themselves in there and have a quite judge in private

snickersnack · 24/04/2008 13:54

Wipe kitchen surfaces, sweep kitchen floor, give loo and basin a quick wipe. A bit of everything rather than lots of one thing...but our downstairs is open plan so everyone can see the kitchen and we've only got one bathroom.

MeMySonAndI · 24/04/2008 15:50

The one that most requires it.

Bathroom - easier to keep them out the kitchen.

Minum · 24/04/2008 16:17

Kitchen - always have guests in kitchen, while rest of family doing their thing in living room and toy room. (If by guests we mean a friend coming round for coffee)

Farb · 24/04/2008 16:20

If there are poo stains in the loo then bathroom, if you are faecally free then I would go for the kitchen.

Anyway SMS I thought you were a FLY person, how can either of those core rooms be dirty?

SlightlyMadSweet · 24/04/2008 18:36

Managed to skirt over bathroom. Is being ripped out ina couple of weeks so did the essentials.

Did quite a bit in the kitchen too....cleared worktops which always make it sparkle.

I did FLY for about 3m.....I need to refind my wings I think.....

I'd be in the both camp too. Put loo cleaner down loo, quick clean and flush. Wipe loo with babywipes, ditto sink and flashback. Quick wipe of base of loo with another wipe.

Then wipe down kitchen sides and pile up (or pref hide in dishwasher) any dirty stuff. Sweep floor or quick vac with baby Dyson. Wipe cooker over with kitchen roll to remove any spilt food and worst of any marks. Then close the lid
