Slipy patio

Is there a hack to getting a slimy slippy patio clean? I've got a bad back and can't get down and scrub at it but it's at my elderly mothers house and I feel I need to sort it for her. There is an outside broom so I'm thinking something I can pour or sprinkle on and scrub lightly with a broom on a rainy day to wash it off.

Sounds like it needs jetwashing. Our window cleaners can do this. Maybe you can find similar?

Soapy water and a good stiff broom to scrip it. Works better if the slabs are already wet
mor jet wash but will take time

A bit of Jeyes fluid mixed with water always does ours nicely. I pour it over the drive/patio then brush it with a long-handled brush with stiff bristles.

I pour some kettles of boiling water on it to kill the algae. Then brush with a broom to clear properly.

Biological washing powder sprinkled on overnight kills moss and the next morning use a stiff brush and the surface is lovely.

Pressure wash it. Or get someone to do it. Quick and effective.

Soda crystals work well for this. Sprinkle on, damp paving, and leave for a while. Then light scrub with a broom and rinse off. Doesn't harm the environment either.

We've used this stuff with success. No scrubbing, you spray it on (we bought one of those applicators that you pump) and leave it, it works over several days. Safe for pets and nature.

You can get a chemical called "Wet and Forget" that you dilute with water and apply with a sprayer or watering can. There are other chemicals with the same ingredient. A 5 litre container will last a long time.

If you go to the website they often have special offers or free samples.

Jetwashing will erode the surface of the concrete

The problem is caused by persistent damp, I presume yours does not get much sun, or was laid too flat so the rain doesn't run off. If there is a faulty gutter or drain, get it fixed.
