Help me sort my house out !!!

I have always had a fairly tidy house, but its driving me mad right now.
I am on Mat leave and am not going back (dd2 is 7months) so need to sort this out.

I dont have a lot of storage, have laods of baby stuff plus my washing seems to end up in huge piles all over the place. I have 2 girls plus hubby.
My house isnt dirty, I hoover everyday and sort out kitchin, but I have so much crap and no where to put it.
Give me some tips please, espcially on how to do it all while looking after kids.

Get rid of as much stuff as possible - be ruthless, particularly with kid clutter
always get as much done first thing as possible - put wash on,unload ishwasher, think about what to have for tea
get kids into putting things away and only having one thing out as time
invest in some new storage

sort out dd1 clothes. that wardrobe is full isnt it? our one holds enough clothes for two children (am trying to get the stuff sorted so i can fit all three dd's clothes into one wardrobe lol).

sort out your laundry. thats one thing i have to do every day (peter just nagged me to put another load on). some days its just one load, some days its 4! (depends if i have done any the day before)

more storage boxes! lots of them!

books. not sure how many you have. but could you take some to charioty shop (breaks my heart saying that as i cant part with books myself lol)

make use of any corner that can have nice storage in it. i am trying to find something to fit near my front door to use for baby items. ditto area by the kitchen.

def make a start on the laundry and clothes sorting though. if you cant bear to part with stuff dd1 has grown out of and want to keep for dd2, then maybe pack it in a large suitcase with bounce sheets in it or vac pack it and put it in the loft.

oh your coat rack by the stairs? hang up any out of season coats in the wardrobe so that area looks better. dd's currently have their summer jackets and raincoats out on the racks.

whopps didn;t mean to repeat myself

Anyway, get 3 black bags, and do a room at a time, throw out any rubbish, have one for chartity and one for keeps, then sort out the keep one into places. Freecycle, ebay and tip anything you don't need.
