Ring doorbell?

I’d like a smart doorbell mostly because there’s been some vandalism down my road recently and I want to keep an eye on our car etc. are ring doorbells the way to go or are there any other brands you can recommend..?

thanks in advance

I've been very happy with a Reolink POE one, it can save to internal storage or save to a PVR that supports ONVIF cameras

They do two models, one needs power and connects via Wifi, and the other using power over ethernet (POE) neither require a subscription.

The app is responsive on 5G and wifi and usable on 4G

We have a Ring doorbell and whilst I like it and the other cameras the cost for subscription is - I find too high. I'm eyeing a swap to Eufy. The one thing I would always advise is they are only as good as the wifi if you're in a bad spot you won't be able to get a signal to answer a doorbell call or view a camera for motion etc.

We have a Eufy and it’s brilliant. The picture and sound quality are excellent and there is no subscription cost.

We decided on Eufy due to the subscription costs of Ring.
