Stain removal

I’ve got this dress from Zara and managed to get fake tan on it where I put it on top of my tanning mit without realising and it’s bright white!
it’s like a sheen/satin material but label says 100% polyester, will attach a pic. Says hand wash only.
anyone have any ideas how to get this stain out? Wanted some ideas before ruining it even more!

We use the Vanish stain removal gel. Always works very well. If it’s polyester than I’d probably just chuck it in the wash with some whitening powder too

Agree with pp, in the washer with some vanish.
My dd regularly wears white tops for bed after she's applied fake tan, drives me mad! I just wash them with vanish and it works well.
