Recommendations for lightweight cylinder vacuum cleaner, corded

Has to be cylinder, corded and lightweight. Aside from that, open to suggestions. Don't care whether bags or bagless.

My friends swear by shark

The Miele ones are great. We have the C3 cat and dog and the suction is pretty strong. I can carry it up and down the stairs easily enough, even with joint issues.

Thanks, - I've heard Shark is good but a neighbour has one and hates it and it's really heavy. The Miele C3 is over 7kg, am looking for something lighter.
