JustJaamy · 23/04/2008 11:16

I know, can't put bleach on fabric without wrecking it. Someone has mentioned distilled vinegar. Anyone know whether that is likely to bleach? And where can I get hold of it?

Thanks Monkeybird. Have put it outside for now. Only wish I'd done that yesterday when it was lovley and sunny.

How about getting it off the rubbery sealant around the bath, or am I b*ggered?

youknownothingofthecrunch · 23/04/2008 14:59

I've got Frauster's problem, any ideas?

Milton fluid for the bath sealant. Sunlight is the only thing for fabric. If vinegar does work, it doesn't bleach.

frauster · 23/04/2008 16:34

Oooh milton fluid. Here's a thicko question for you: I've only got tablets in and don't fancy shelling out on a bottle of fluid too. How much water should I dissolve one tablet in to cure my grotty bathroom woes.

chipmonkey · 23/04/2008 18:31

Difficult one! Probably slightly more concentrated than for sterilising baby stuff, I would think.

mildew off sealant question - parazone bleach squirt directly on to it, leave for 30 mins and rinse off. 100% removal.

frauster · 28/04/2008 20:04

cool. Tried Milton, pretty good on the newer incidents, but couldn't shift its older relatives.

Mind you, dissolving a sterilising tablet in a half filled wash-basin is a top super-lazy cleaning tip

Would Milton fluid bleach fabric does anyone know? We're kind of lacking in the sunlight dept here at the moment.
