Removing felt tip pen from dolls house

Hi,

Does anyone have any tips and tricks for removing felt tip pen from a wooden dolls house?

I've tried wiping it, giving it a scrub with dish soap and warm water, bicarb etc but it doesn't seem to want to budge!

If you know of any good solutions please let me know!

I use magic sponges for this sort of thing. I get mine from Amazon.

I have used toothpaste to remove Sharpie marks before. You could try that.

You could try WD40,

Apparently a DRY marker pen will remove PERMANENT marker pen from a white board.

It's worth having a bottle of isopropyl alcohol/rubbing alcohol in the cleaning kit for all kinds of permanent pen/sticky residue/electronics cleaning.

Also white spirit will take some pen marks off. Is it natural wood or painted?

Hair spray.

Magic sponge will work.

I work with children and a magic sponge is an essential in my classroom from removing all the sticky grime that accumulates everywhere and the crayon/markers/pencil markers that end up on toys, chalkboard walls etc
