Oddly satisfying chores

I've just used my new Vax carpet cleaner. Not only the joy of a cleaner carpet...

But seeing the colour if the water it sucked up was very satisfying!

Plus the newly organised stuff going back into place.

Anyone else or havecI gone mad(der).

Not a House-Keeping one but I used to take great joy in re-doing the guinea-pigs house .
Deep clean-Everything out , clean the floor with the steamer then lined with cardboard and newspaper over their rubber mats .
Filled their sleeping boxes with fresh paper and hay , moved things about for enrichment (to bamboozle them)
Daily clean was fresh paper and hay

The joy from these little animals as they pootled round .
Next day , it was a mess again, but that;s them !
