How do you clean your oil diffuser?

I wash it in warm water with fairy liquid. I struggle though, I hate the switch from one oil to another as they sort of merge for a while. So a good scrub with the fairy helps

I wipe it with isopropyl alcohol, using a cotton bud to clean the "spout" bit.

@RudolphsDashing yes I poured out the water, wiped with the alcohol on a cotton round and left to dry- it worked even better than I thought it would. I have a litre of it I bought from Amazon I use to clean random things like light switches, earrings and my phone.

Thank you I will try an alcohol wipe.. since posting I've mean it with plain water several times and it is better, but there's still a lingering smell, sadly of one I really disliked
