Storage for folded clothes

Our build in wardrobes have a large space above the hanging area where, atm I try to keep jumpers t-shirts-leggings etc folded. But it’s a nightmare when you are trying to find anything-everything tips and gets really untidy. Any ideas for storage solutions for this area. TIA

sounds like you need some kind of boxes or trays to keep the folded clothes corralled?

The Folding Lady has great advice on how to fold clothes so that you can file them side by side instead of stacking them one on top of the other, which would help you remove the item(s) you want without disturbing the rest. She has a book, instagram and youtube channel

Baxna storage boxes from Ikea might work for you.

I have lots of Skubb boxes to organise my clothes, but they're in drawers rather than on a high shelf.

I used storage boxes to fill in the back half of the shelf. The front half works fine in simple stacks with the "false wall" behind it.

Is it a bare wall above the hanging rails OP? I have Elfa shelving, it's a great investment. Right up to the ceiling.
