How to combat cigarette smells from neighbours

Recently moved into a lovely new rental flat. Our neighbours are nice, however they chain smoke cigarettes and weed all the time both inside and outside of their apartment, which comes up through the boiler cupboard in our sitting room as well as pipes in the kitchen and bathroom.

Its brand new completely refurbished inside.

How can we combat the smells! We have lots of different types of smelling things everywhere, using oust spray regularly and bowls of baking soda in various places.

There's no point asking them to not smoke in their home as they just won't...

If it's getting through inside the flat can you make sure there are no spaces next to the pipes. Sealant or expanding foam might help.

Thanks, just conscious of doing that in a rental.

Block all the gaps, perhaps with carbon filters. Make sure it's fire safe though.

Get an air purifier.
