I have tried various products.I have found Windowlene brand glass cleaner leaves the least residue.
Any other suggestions?
I have a chronic fatigue condition, an old long-haired GSD,a new puppy.AND my husband has started cooking more so I am struggling to cope with the greasy marks etc.I wish there was a coating that repelled marks.
Moving to sunny Eastbourne & a hard-water area isn't helping,but no regrets!

Orange method spray and a microfibre cloth.

Just stated using this and it's brilliant. It's not for grease though , just fingers prints and the occasional water drip.
I'd use kitchen roll and warm washing up water (fairy) to clean the grease and then dry with a tea towel.

Thank you to both-I am going to try them both.I find Windowlene is good for greasy marks & is low odour, but am keen to see how these compare.I use Stardrops for cleaning tiled floors because its low-odour & I can't cope with the industrial perfumes & other chemicals in many products( sensitive sinuses)

I bought a Karcher window cleaner especially for my high gloss cabinets, after a friend recommended it for window cleaning.I gave it to the charity shop.Couldn't get on with it at all!

I have high gloss and am a lazy mare ( im not, just bloody busy, old and knackered ) so my cleaning method is - once a month a degreaser spray - elbow grease works best for me, and daily, just a lightly moistened microfibre cloth - a fine one which says its for glass. I mean very lightly moist and just polish away

I haven’t used this myself but worth looking at the reviews for Vuplex
