Is the water in there clean or a little bit murky?
I am having an ongoing issue with my dishwasher in that it seems to smell drainy if you open it mid-cycle. It's cleaned monthly and the filter is cleaned regularly. Am wondering if it's a problem with the machine draining, or the drain itself. I took out the filter and the pump filter cover to check there's nothing stuck in there (which there isn't) and noticed that the water sitting in the filter hole looked dirty - not filthy, just a bit murky and had some food detritus. Is this normal or should the water be clear? Presumably it's from the rinse cycle so shouldn't really have be dirty, or should it?
