Dyson V15

Having bought a Dyson V15 I’ve found that it is wrecking all of the carpets in my home. Basically it’s too aggressive and has turned the pile of the carpet all fuzzy.
There are a few comments on the internet discussing this problem and I would like to know if anyone else has this issue?
Dyson surly should have to take some responsibility here as their rotary brush head is recommended for carpets. Has anyone sought redress from Dyson on this and if so what was the outcome?

I've got normal carpets (the Dyson is fine) and then expensive wool carpets and I think the instructions say you shouldn't use it on those sorts of carpets so I have a Henry for those. Bit annoying.

Many thanks for your reply. And yes I have noticed this in the instruction manual after purchase and realising that may carpets were being wrecked. None of this information is present though in there marketing pre sale though.

It's very annoying and also not hugely useful having such a picky hoover! I don't know what to recommend re rectification of the carpets as I haven't worked that out myself so if you find out do share!
