Smiley chart...yes...can't wait. I remember having to do a similar thing for DD1. They do work. Haven't decided yet what reward she'll get at the end of the week if she has a week of smileys. Hope it'll also encourage her to eat her tea rather than keep pushing her plate away and ruining tea times for everyone. And as for her telling DH that 'Mummy said I can have a pudding' when I clearly haven't said anything of the sort...well thats something else we've got to sort out....and she's only 4! Good grief.

NotABanana · 21/04/2008 12:39

Ruby - We have the pleasure of sleeping on the sofa bed due to dp still not having finished the new bathroom . I've been moaning about it for months now

Once the new one is finished, we can rip out the old one, turn that oom into bedroom for dd2 and ds, then we get a bedroom for ourselves.

Afternoon
11 15 min declutter done
More
Fish tank
Paint hall done

I will just get this list finished, then I'll have the evening stuff to do.

I can't remember the last time I got (almost) everyhing on my lists done.

Afternoon everyone - come on Bear you know you want us

Well we have done arty things at toddlers (decorated pigs) and one is at preschool and the other in bed.

Wow an hour to myself.

GO Glad you enjoyed the gig
Ruby how was the posh meal
Jas A kick up the behind is in order - soon, you need your own room
Luda and Sag I am not built for running (I would give myself black eyes), but maybe after the ops you never know - good luck

Waves to Bannan, FGS and Wispy Shanna we have remote plugs, cause we are on the cutback too

Shannaratiger · 21/04/2008 13:14

Afternoon

Have taken DD to playschool, went into town. DS isn't eating his lunch again. I will just hope he doesn't fade away, he is on the 92nd pecentile for weight and height so i guess we're ok for a while.
In town forgot the shoe polish, dp's workshoes are terrible! adn brought a set of tarot cards Always wanted t odo them adn they were only £3.99 last of the lot in the shop. If DP goes mad she said i can take them back.
I am very impressed with all this running. I can walk for miles, do about 5 miles/day getting DD to & from playschool, but breaking in to a run kills me.
TMH what are rmote plugs, will they save me nearly breaking my neck in order to turn the tv plug off?

tortoise · 21/04/2008 13:26

Afternoon all.
I have been busy this morning and have a clean, tidy table and floor under it is clean too. There was glitter and bits stuck everywhere! Pulled something in my back while cleaning the floor. It is ok except when i move a certain way!

Also cleaned fridge. It needed doing ages ago!

I had a friend request on Facebook from someone with the same surname as me. He wants lots of people on his with our surname. Quite an unusual name i think, isn't that many of us! I added him and he is quite good looking!

Luda Good luck with the running. I would like to get back to it too. The programme i was following is good for beginners.

tortoise · 21/04/2008 13:27

EHM You are doing the right thing with pre-school. She will enjoy playing with other children and you will get a bit of time to yourself.

Hello Bigbear.

DontDreamItBeIt · 21/04/2008 13:36

Also like the sound of remote plugs...tell us more

lol @ 92nd centile ds fading away shanna

Yes TMH I am starting the daily reminder that dp would get more nookie if we had a bedroom with a door
I have decluttered our dstuff so much ha we will only need drawers, a bed and the radio in our room when we do get it.

I think I will make some soup.

tortoise · 21/04/2008 13:43

TMH Emailed you re; cake bits. Thank you.

TheMadHouse · 21/04/2008 13:45

Jas Daily knookie would make my DH do ANYTHING

We got the plugs from Costco, as they were cheap, £9 for three, but I think that they are £11 in B&Q, you simply pop it in the socket and you have one remote that turns all three off seperatly like this. we actually would like another set for upstairs, as you only get some remote and it will do up and down, but would be easier with one upstairs.

we also have an intellipannel for the main TV, we bought it as our aniversary pressie. It will save the cost over the year
Once the study is done and the PC plugged in we will be getting one of these

I am also looking at getting a Bokashi Unit for the kitchen to replace our caddy.

TheMadHouse · 21/04/2008 13:48

Cleaned cooker - yuk
Wiped all kitchen tops

TOTAL LUNACY has broken out at Grouchy Towers. Next door's brood of 5 have been in and out watching films, 2 kids from school who live over the road are here. Ed is either playing in the garden or on his bike Next door's DS is in our front room and...I don't mind a bit tbh

Oh I spent this afternoon making papier mache fruit for the performing arts group at school. That was real occupational therapy, tearing paper and squishing gunk

Further dones

WM emptied and sorted for drying
Wet washing hung up
Damp washing taken to dryer
Load TD and run
Clothes out for morning
Lunches made for tomorrow
Ed's tea in ovenTo do list written for morning
Bag packed

To do

Feed Ed
Tidy round
Await DH (about an hour)
read story and get him in bed (Ed, not DH)

Ed's tea's ready but they are having such fun I'll keep it warm for him

oh, did I tell you last night was FANTABULOUS. Please check them out.

BiancaCastafiore · 21/04/2008 18:08
