Can anyone recommend natural products for laundry, washing up/dishwasher? I use method spray for kitchen and bathroom cleaning but would like to use products that are as natural as possible for washing clothes, dishes etc….?

Check out Nancy Birtwhistle on Instagram or Facebook. She's a genius! You can buy her books, but she shares plenty of her recipes online.

@TheNuthatch recipes?! I’m looking for cleaning supplies 😄 I did check her out and she looks great but I’m looking for time saving tips! Making my own stuff is not really ideal atm so I wondered if anyone knew of any eco cleaning products that I can get in the supermarket!

Gotcha. The problem I found is that all the eco products you can get in supermarkets aren't as green or natural as they claim to be. You end up paying more for a product that is no better than the rest! Method also sell laundry products and washing up liquid. They are both very good.

Miniml are a very good ethical brand, buy direct from them, Ocado or Amazon. I've used their laundry detergents, fabric softener and washing up liquid before. They are pretty good, but won't deal with with tough stains.

Ecover products are usually very good, their laundry liquid is far better than most eco brands I have tried. Unfortunately they are owned by one of the worst global polluters, as are Method unfortunately.

It's really difficult to find truly ethical brands, the market is full of greenwashing.

I use Allavare washing powder - all natural, un-scented.

I did fall to the social marketing pressure of the Purdy & Fig cleaning set online whilst in bed with Covid. It is actually very nice, the cloths are very good quality 😆

Apart from those I don't use a lot of products. Fairy liquid for my dishes, I suppose. Mostly hot water, a good cloth (or mop) and a bit of elbow grease is all you need around the home.

Smol for laundry
Purdy & Figg or Neat for cleaning

I order Sonett products online from Greenfibres. I love the smell of them. Very mild and natural.

@Button28384738 I have just received a Smol box today with sample laundry & dishwasher tabs & a bottle of washing up liquid…
