About 6-7mm, a dozen on them on clean sheets on the bed? Does anyone recognise what it is? 😨 thank you!

That picture is a bit blurry so it's hard to tell. If you have a clearer photo then that would probably get better answers. I had carpet beetles once so always worry about getting them again.

In the meantime I'd check where you keep the sheets just in case.

That actually looks like a head louse, but the size you mentioned is too big for them. Better pic and accurate length?

Silverfish?

Thanks so much for the replies..I am hoping it's silverfish now (which I had never heard of). It doesn't look round like a bedbug which is the important thing. But silverfish apparently is harmless so that put my mind to rest a bit. This is at my flat in my home country which I airbnb when I'm in the UK, so I was mortified 🫣 Luckily the guests were very laid back about it. I always do a yearly pest control, I might bring it forward this year.
