Washer/Dryer condemned. Please help advise on replacement.

I have a washer dryer which I bought in early 2018. It's a John Lewis model 1613 (which is made by AEG I believe) 9kg wash & 6kg dry. It's been a really good little workhorse having only had the Engineer out once to replace the temperature sensor when the tumble dryer part failed.
It's suddenly got incredibly noisy on spinning, although still fine in normal operation, and when emptying and turning the drum by hand to ensure I have everything, it's noisy - slight grinding?
I've spoken to the company who did the last repair and they've advised against repairing this time. It sounds like the bearings have gone but everything (seals etc)will need replacing too, probably about £400 Inc labour & vat. I think I paid about £600 ish for the machine back in 2018.
We had the kitchen refitted 3 years ago with neff built in oven, hob and fridge freezer, but I chose to keep the dishwasher (Bosch) and washer dryer freestanding for easier maintenance and cleaning.
So no space for 2 separate machines.
Please could you advise on replacement newer models?
Appreciate your opinions and feedback.
Tia.
