How and where do you store your towels?

Hi mumsnetters,
I'm looking for some inspiration please!
I'm trying to declutter and organise my house, at the minute I'm working on the bathroom.
I have loads of towels and they always look untidy. How and where do you store yours?

I'm not sure if this is helpful. I have a large pine cupboard in the bathroom and I fold them and store them in that.

We call it the airing cupboard but not sure it technically is one, it's a cupboard with the hot water tank, but not much room much else but DH managed to build a shelf in it so we have some storage space at the top (I then put bed linen in storage boxes) and the cupboard has enough room for a narrow tower of drawers in front of the tank that I put towels in.
