Does cooking get you down?

God, I hate cooking and find it such a chore trying to plan what to cook every day. It's not that I'm a really bad cook or anything (I'm not great, but passable) and I've tried buying magazines and books to inspire me, but it stills feels like a total weight on my shoulders. Also, even if I do make an effort, I quite often then don't want to eat it, as I'm bored with looking at/smelling/thinking about it by then.

Help! This is really bugging me. When 5pm comes around my heart just sinks

Tell him to cook then. Cheeky sod.
Nothing nutritionally superiour about something hot.
Or,make loads of one thing and have it a few nights running and/or freeze some.

Thanks Moondog. Am off to make cheese on toast!

I like cooking; it's the thinking I hate. Then again, dp would be happy with beans on toast and the girls would be happy with stir fry every night. It's me that makes it more complicated I think.
