My automatic dosing drawer on my washing machine is constantly flashing as empty, even when I've just re-filled it.
Im assuming it's still dosing the laundry properly as the level does go down.
It started doing this after I gave everything a good clean as the drawer and bit it goes in was grim. I since found out you're not supposed to use water to wash the tray...
How do you clean this part of the machine? It gets disgusting but if you're not supposed to use water to clean it, how should you? Every time I look in there it makes me think I'm washing my clothes with mouldy jelly!
Is there any way of stopping it going so revolting? I open it when it's not in use, but that doesn't seem to make a difference.
