My husband likes to wear these travelling but a stain has not come out. We leave at 7 tomorrow.
The stain is hard like glue.
I have machine washed the trousers 2x . Tried wash up liquid. Any ideas ? Some solvent?

I don’t know what it is. I have no idea if it is glue.It just feels like it to me.

Yep try nail polish remover or a little bit of paint remover/brush cleaner (you'll have to wash a couple of times to get smell out). Drop it on and let it spak for awhile. Isopropyl alcohol is good too if you have any.

I use a combo of the above to get paint out of DSs favourite shorts which he insists on wearing to work...

If its superglue its not coming out fully unfortunately

Yay! What did the trick, nail polish remover?

AnneKipankitoo · 31/08/2024 12:35

Yes. The nail polish remover, then 40 degree wash with Vanish powder. I think it was the acetone that did the trick. It was hard to touch. That seemed to soften it up.
